Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage (for example to remember your cookie choice and a booking cart in your session). In this policy, “cookies” covers both.
How we use cookies
Komani Guide uses cookies to:
- make the website and booking flow work;
- remember language and consent choices;
- understand traffic and page usefulness with Google Analytics, only if you accept.
We do not use cookies to sell your data. For personal data linked to cookies, see our Privacy Policy.
Cookie consent
When you first visit, we show a banner. Accept allows analytics cookies (Google Analytics) in addition to essential cookies. Essential cookies are needed for the site to function and do not require consent in the same way.
You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer. That clears your stored choice and shows the banner again.

Analytics — Google Analytics (optional)
If you accept cookies, we load Google Analytics (typically Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag / gtag.js).
Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC
Purpose: Measure visits, popular pages, devices, approximate geography and referral sources so we can improve the site and content.
Data: May include IP (often truncated), device/browser info, page views, events and a client identifier stored in Google cookies (for example _ga, _ga_*).
Legal basis: Your consent.
Opt out: Use Cookie settings to withdraw consent, and/or browser controls / Google Analytics opt-out where available.
Google may process data in the United States or other countries. See Google’s privacy policy and partner sites disclosure.
Until you accept, we do not intentionally load Google Analytics for your visit.
Marketing cookies
We do not currently run a separate advertising pixel network on this site beyond what Google Analytics may classify as measurement. If we later add Meta / Instagram or Google Ads conversion tags, we will update this policy and only activate them with consent.
Embedded content (for example Google Maps or Instagram) may set its own cookies when you interact with that embed. Those are controlled by the third party.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may break login, language or checkout. Prefer our Cookie settings link to turn off analytics while keeping essential functions.
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when our tools change. The Last updated date at the top of the page will be revised accordingly.
