Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern use of the website komaniguide.com and bookings or enquiries made with Komani Guide for tours, boat trips, transfers, ferry-related seats we sell, and stays we arrange or list.

By sending a booking request, paying online, or reserving to pay cash, you confirm that you have read these Terms and our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

If anything in a written confirmation we send you conflicts with these Terms, the confirmation applies for that booking.

Services

We offer, among other things:

• Shared and private boat trips (for example Shala River / Komani Lake experiences);
• Transfers timed to ferry and road connections (for example Koman ↔ Valbona and related routes);
• Ferry-linked seats where advertised (you may reserve online and pay cash or show proof of online purchase at our address when stated);
• Accommodation listings or enquiries — some stays redirect to Booking.com or another host; those bookings are also subject to the host’s and platform’s terms.

Descriptions, durations, meeting points and “from” prices on the website are indicative until we confirm your reservation.

Enquiries vs confirmed bookings

• An enquiry or unpaid request is not a confirmed booking until we reply and confirm availability, price and timing.
• A booking is confirmed when we issue a booking reference and confirm status (for example paid by card, or reserved for cash payment).
• Cash / show ticket products: reserving online holds a place subject to our confirmation; you must pay cash or present valid proof of purchase at Komani Guide before departure as instructed.

Prices and what is included

• Prices are shown in euro (EUR) unless stated otherwise.
• Prices are per person, per boat, per car or per night as labelled on the product.
• Discounts (if shown) apply only as displayed at the time of booking.
• Included / not included lists on each product page apply. Meals, drinks, personal insurance, tips and third-party fees are excluded unless listed as included.
• We may correct obvious pricing errors before confirmation; if the corrected price is higher, you may cancel without charge.

Guests and ages

• Unless stated otherwise, ages 6 and over pay the adult / standard fare on shared tours.
• Children 0–5 may travel free on shared tours where advertised, but still count toward capacity and must be declared at booking.
• You are responsible for accurate passenger counts and for children in your care.

Payment

You may be offered one or more of:

1. Card online — processed securely by our payment provider (POK). Payment is due as shown at checkout.
2. Cash at Komani Guide — only where the product allows it. Pay at our address before departure, or show a valid online ticket / reservation as instructed.
3. Enquiry first — we confirm details and payment method before you pay.

Unpaid reservations may be released if you do not arrive by the meeting time or fail to complete payment as agreed. Failed or disputed card payments may cancel the booking.

Meeting point, punctuality and parking

• Arrive 10–15 minutes before the confirmed meeting time unless we tell you otherwise.
• Meeting points and parking notes are on the product page and in your confirmation. For Koman departures, free private parking with shuttle may be available when requested at booking.
• If you are late, we may depart without you to protect other guests’ schedules; late arrival without notice may be treated as a no-show under the Cancellation Policy.

Safety and conduct

• Life jackets (or equivalent) are provided on our boats where required; you must wear them when instructed.
• Follow crew and driver instructions at all times.
• We may refuse boarding or remove a guest who is intoxicated, abusive, or endangers others, without refund.
• You are responsible for suitable clothing, sun protection, water and any medication you need.
• Travel insurance (medical and cancellation) is strongly recommended and is your responsibility.

Weather, lake and road conditions

Lake and mountain conditions can change quickly. We may delay, reroute, shorten or cancel a trip for safety. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for refunds and rebooking when we cancel for weather or safety.

We are not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, landslides, third-party ferry operators, border or police checks, or force majeure, beyond the remedies in the Cancellation Policy.

Third-party services

Ferry operators, other transport companies, guesthouses and Booking.com (or similar) are independent. Where we only connect you or sell a seat subject to their timetable, their rules may also apply. We help rearrange where we reasonably can, but we are not automatically liable for their failures.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are responsible for organising and delivering the services we confirm with reasonable care.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example missed flights, hotels or onward travel you booked independently), except where we cannot exclude liability by law (including death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
• Our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Intellectual property

Website content, branding and photos (except third-party credited images) are owned by Komani Guide or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission.

Website use

You must not misuse the site (for example scraping, introducing malware, or submitting false booking data). We may suspend access if we detect abuse.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Albania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Albania shall have jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable consumer rights.
